About our bull riding company
The Great Frontier Bull Riding Company, Inc. is in full swing of producing bull riding events through out Minnesota. The company has produced bull riding events in Edgerton, MN during its Edgerton Dutch Festival; at the Kandiyohi County Fair in Willmar, MN; and at Minnesota's largest county fair, the Steele County Free Fair - to name a few.
The Kattevolds focus on the production of the show - the entertainment part that goes hand in hand with the fastest growing audience watched sporting event. We all know the last event of a rodeo is the bull riding, the best is always saved for the last. However, with Great Frontier Bull Riding Company your fair, your sponsors, your spectators, and your committee will receive two hours of dirt kickin' wicked good bull riding entertainment!
During the two hours of amazing bull riding action, we squeeze in hilarious clown skits, some involving participating members of the audience! These are always a crowd pleaser. Don't forget the kids' events - a night of bull riding includes the kids so we bring them down in the arena to meet the clown and join in any one of the fun filled activities. The favorites are the boot scramble or the watermelon crawl. Plus, there is always a Great Frontier t - shirt to be given away.
The show is non - stop with unexpected wrecks between cowboys and bulls...but don't fear, Great Frontier Bull Riding Company brings two of the best bull fighters to save our cowboys from hang - ups or even worse. We may even see a little action between the bull fighters and the bulls - simply because we like the entertainment it brings the crowd.
An intermission guarantees people will visit the concession stands to support your fair and the local vendors and sponsors.

Going beyond great frontier
There is even more to Great Frontier Bull Riding... in the world of rodeo the United States is divided up into "circuits" based on regions of the county. Minnesota is part of the Great Lakes Circuit; but Alan's wife, Jennifer, is from Maine which is part of the First Frontier Circuit; hence the name Great Frontier Bull Riding Company.
In addition to its name, they knew the state of Maine was a prime location for bull riding events. After a year of research and marketing, becoming associate members of the Maine Association of Agricultural Fairs, and attending the annual Maine State Fair Convention, they were hired for their first Maine bull riding event in September of 2005.
The community of Oxford, Maine was the first to host a Great Frontier Bull Riding event, but it wasn't your ordinary bull riding event. Great Frontier hosted four days of live bull riding action and what they dubbed "Meet n' Greet " sessions where cowboys and fair attendees could shake hands, ask questions, and take pictures. The live bull riding preformance included free - style bull fighting and kids' intermission events. The cowboys autographed t - shirts following the shows for thousands of fans in the stands. The radio and the newspapers provided fantastic coverage for both the bull riding event and the Oxford County Fair. We are encouraged by the spectators who attend the show every night! In 2009 it will be the 5th year Great Frontier Bull Riding Company has provided dirt kickin' wicked good bull riding at the Oxford Fair!
